The barrel bed is our newest design. One day I was putting together itty bitty beds and wondered what they would look like attached with an opening for a ferret to crawl into.
The prototype was not that difficult to put together once I figured out what I was doing and it was immediately stolen by mom's sphinx cat. It's no wonder that this second design that was inspired by my ferrets was stolen by hairless cats. The bed traps the body heat of the animal inside and is cozy quickly.
